JAPANESE SOCKS AND THE RATING SYSTEM TO THE RATIO OF...

I don't care about the title.  This post is about socks. Get over it.

Apparently, in Japan, socks (in relation to skirts) are very important.  What is so important about this key component in Japanese culture?  Well, I'm not so sure, but anime has taken a root with this genre or "fetish" as some may call it.

"Zettai Ryouiki" means "absolute territory".  The term first came about from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion to designate the area of skin between the top of a girl's socks to the bottom of her skirt.  Here is an image to show what I mean.

Ignoring the fact that the foot kn that image is horrifically small...There is a rating system to zettai ryouiki.  It goes from A to G, depending on the length of sock in relation to the skirt (or shorts, or panties for that matter).

The ideal ratio for zettai ryouiki is 4 : 1 : 2.5.  These numbers correspond to (length of the mini skirt : zettai ryouiki : length of socks.

Failing to reproduce the 4:1:2.5 code be result in being labeled as a Narutard, since ninjas don’t subscribe to the Zettai Ryouiki rule."


I totally agree with this. If you don't know that thigh high socks are what makes a tsundere 100X more adorable, then you are a Narutard. If you are reading this now, and you were a Narutard, then congratulations, you just became 100000000000% more weeaboo. YAY!
